(What's this?)
The family book discussion group will meet once a month for an hour. The next group meeting will be Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. This month's book is Runt by Marion Dane Bauer.
At each meeting, families will discuss the selected material, share recommendations, and enjoy a snack. Books will be available for check-out at the Library several weeks prior to discussion. This group is a great way for families to share their love for reading!
The family book discussion group is for 3rd-6th graders and their mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, older siblings, etc!
Inside the Library, we've set up special shelves of science fair project and reference books. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask!
Registration is open for the following computer classes:
Introduction to Computers
Introduction to Excel
Introduction to PowerPoint
Tuesday classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday classes begin at 10 a.m. Sign up at the front desk; a non-refundable fee is due when you register ($10.00 per class for Homer Township and Homer Glen residents, $20.00 for non-residents). Class sizes are limited to 8 participants!
