Through December 30, we're collecting canned and other non-perishable food for the Lockport FISH Pantry, a partner agency of the Northern Illinois Food Bank. For each food item you give at the Library, we'll waive up to $3.00 in existing overdue charges.
* If you don't have any overdues on your account, you're still welcome to bring in donations! Look for the collection bin near the front desk.
* "Food for fines" applies only to books, CDs, videos, etc., which are owned by us; overdue charges on items from other libraries still need to be paid by cash or check.

Our new catalog gadget is a nifty piece of software that adds a library catalog search box to your Windows 2000 or XP desktop. Type or paste words into the box and press Enter, and the gadget opens a browser window with your search results. The gadget is available, along with our Firefox/Netscape plugin and catalog bookmarklets, on our
Power Tools page.
