In The Heat Of The Night-John Ball
This book is about a Southern town in the 1960s where a important man in the city is found dead. The police's original suspect is an African American man visting his mother named Virgil Tibbs. It turns out that he is an important police officer in California. When this is found out, he helps in the investigation. This is a very well written book and much better than I expected. It keeps your attention throughout the entire book.
The Empty Mirror- James Lincoln Collier
The Empty Mirror is a haunting story about a troublesome boy who grows up as an orphan, Nick Hodges. After being accused of crimes that he didn't commit, and spotted in places miles from where is really is, Nick begins to think that there is someone out there who is imitating him. But why? As he continues to discover more mysteries, he begins to unlock some of the shocking answers. I, personally, really enjoyed reading this book. It makes you want to think ahead and guess. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in suspenseful stories.
I would highly reccomend killing britney. In killing britney everyone close to britney is being killed and britney think it is all her fault. The book is very suspenseful and keeps you guessing until the very end.
