* Closed for Independence Day.

The Library will be closed on Tuesday, the 4th of July. We're closing early, at 3:00 p.m., on July 3.

Have you ever heard "Stars and Stripes Forever" played on marimbas? (The marimba is an instrument similar to the xylophone.) The Library of Congress has a 1918 recording by the Imperial Marimba Band (as well as other patriotic tidbits) on its website.
