HarperCollins Publishers' First Look Teen program.

HarperCollins has a program that allows teen readers to preview books. The publisher sends Advanced Reading Copies to teen reviewers. Reviewers are selected at random. Teens need to register for the program to be eligible to review books.

Teen Book Discussion coming up.

Don't forget the teen book discussion group usually meets on the first Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting is November 7. We will be discussing Pete Hautman's book, Invisible, and picking up copies of Will Hobb's book, Leaving Protection.

NaNo WriMo.

A teen patron will be participating in the National Novel Writing Month! Participants in NanNo WriMo will write a 175 page novel during the month of November!

We’re having an author fair on Tuesday, October 17. There will be eight authors at the event to meet and converse with patrons. Each author also has a short presentation scheduled.
