What a fantastic read! Thanks for bringing back the classics. It's been years since I read Dashille; I can't wait to see what next year's pick will be!

Can't wait to hear his granddaughter speak.

Julie Rivett, Hammett's granddaughter, gave an excellent presentation . . . who knew that Sam Spade as described in chapter one would uncannily resemble Dashiell Hammett as seen in her family photos?
