Guitar Hero II Open Sessions

Calling all shredders! The library is hosting two more Guitar Hero events -- Wednesday, August 8, & Wednesday August 15. Both events are from 4-5pm, and for teens in 6th grade and up.

Come prepared to rock!

Images of "Honest Abe"

Join us for an exciting and educational slide lecture on July 25 at 7:00 pm.

This slide lecture examines a variety of depictions of our16th President. Images of Lincoln changed during the course of his political career. He continued to be a popular source for artwork and material culture after his assassination. This program examines paintings, photographs, sculptures and material culture relating to Lincoln and their historical context. This lecture is presented by Art Historian Jeff Mishur.
