
Celebrated throughout the month of September, National Library Card Sign-up Month encourages people to check out what's new at the library. Libraries today offer more than just books. Libraries are also dynamic community centers; the Homer Township Library has book discussion groups, presentations, story hours and other programs for children, teenagers and adults.
1. Sign up online sign-up for new library cards. Simply click on the link at
http://www.homerlibrary.org/ and submit an application. Once it is processed you will be notified that your card is ready to be picked up.
2. Come and visit us at the library to sign up in person for a card.

The Homer Library is holding a Divorce Resource Workshop on Tuesday, September 11th at 7 p.m. Presenters from Blue Sky Lending Corporation will discuss the impact of divorce on an individual's credit, mortgage, investments, and retirement plans. A question and answer session immediately follows the presentation. The event is free, but registration is recommended.

September 10th is the first day to sign up for the library's fall programming! Programs include storytime for children ages 3-5, Wiggles and Giggles (an interactive program for children ages 3 and under and their caregivers), Miss Anna's Music Class (for children ages 6 months to 3 years and their caregivers), computer classes for adults, and more!
