Use Your Voice

Learn how to create your own voice in oral storytelling. This event is a great way to become a fantastic public speaker! Maria Gutierrez is the special guest speaker at this program, which takes place on Tuesday, March 11th at 7 pm. Teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending. Pizza will be served (thanks to Chesdan's restaurant in Homer Glen!) before the program begins.

Choices: Decision Making

Life is all about choices. We choose what to eat, who to hang out with, what we do for fun. Some choices have more impact on our lives than others. Learn how you can make great choices for your life now and in the future. Tom Boz is the special guest speaker at this program, which takes place on Monday, March 3rd at 7 pm. This event is open to the public, and teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending.

Yes, You Can!

Lloyd Bachrach was born with a congenital bone deficiency but, with hard work and determination, went on to become a champion athlete. Stop by the library on Wednesday, February 27 at 7 pm to hear how Mr. Bachrach sets goals and stays motivated. Teens participating in ENERGY will receive credit for attending this program. Pizza will be served (thanks to Homer Glen's Great American Pizza!) at this event.

Teen Manga Group -- New Date!

Stop by the Homer Township Public Library on Thursday, February 28th (please note the new date!) at 7 pm to join the Teen Manga Group! Talk about your favorite manga with other teens and show us your best DDR dance moves! Open to teens in 6th grade and up.

Energy Opening Session -- Rescheduled for Feb. 21st

The opening session for ENERGY has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 21st from 7-8 pm. The party will be held at Woodbine Restaurant and Golf Course, located next door to the library. Come prepared to eat delicious snacks & meet the other teens participating in ENERGY!
