Teen Manga & Anime Club

Love manga & anime? Come hang out at the Teen Manga & Anime Group meetings!  We watch anime episodes, play manga-inspired games, have cosplay parties, & more. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month, so the next one is on Thursday, September 18th from 7-8:30pm. For teens in grades 6-12.

Teen Movie Night

It's Teen Movie Night on Tuesday, September 30th at 6:30pm! Enjoy our "candy barĒ (where you can make your own goodie bag from our assortment of candy!) while watching a newly released movie on our big screen! While we canít print the movie title, here is a hint Ė itís a new superhero movie about the "captainĒ of the USA. Canít figure it out? Call the library at (708) 301-7908!

TEEN OPEN HOUSE: Food Fear Factor, Music by Paris Green, Free Pizza, & More!

Our fourth annual Teen Open House is on Friday, October 3rd from 6-8:30pm (while the library is closed)! From 6-6:45pm, decorate a sweet treat to eat, show off your driving skills with Mario Kart, take some epic photobooth pictures, & spin the Krazy Wheel for prizes! Then from 6:45-7:45, whether you're participating in or just watching our Food Fear Factor competition, we'll have your stomach turning! And from 7:45-8:30, join us for raffles, pizza, and live music by Paris Green! Space for Food Fear Factor is limited to 20 participants, so don't forget to sign up -- grab a permission form at the library or click here to print one from home!

Teen Book Club: Panic
Join us for our next Teen Book Club meeting on Tuesday, October 7th at 7pm! The book selection (Panic by Lauren Oliver) is available at the library. The TBC meets on the first Tuesday of each month. For teens in grades 6-12.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a library group for high school students. Members have the opportunity to influence the library's teen services, including the YA book collection, teen programming, and more! For teens in grades 9-12. The next TAB meeting is on Thursday, October 9th at 7pm -- new members are welcome!
