You are responsible for your own card and for all materials borrowed on it. Please contact us immediately if your card has been lost, misplaced, or stolen. Also inform us immediately when you change your address, telephone, or name.
You will be charged $2.00 to replace a lost library card.

If you own property in Homer Township but live elsewhere, please present your current tax bill as identification for a free library card.
Most items may be checked out for a three-week period, and renewed once for another three weeks. New items in "High Demand" may be borrowed for two weeks and will not be renewed if holds have been placed by other cardholders.
Videos may be checked out for two weeks and renewed once.
There is no limit on the total number of items you may borrow, but we may place limits on the number of items you're allowed to check out on the same subject.
Items owned by other libraries (including interlibrary loans arranged by us) may have different loan periods.
Books and other items owned by us may be borrowed on vacation loan for a period of up to four weeks, with the exception of new items.
Most overdue items are charged at .15 per day. Overdue notices are sent as a courtesy, but cardholders assume full responsibility for the items they borrow. Failure to receive an overdue notice does not constitute cause for removal or reduction of overdue fines.
Items can usually be renewed by phone (708-301-7908) when we're open, or through our catalog at any time. You may also contact us by AOL Instant Messenger or email to ask for a renewal. Some items may not be eligible to be renewed.
Outside bookdrops are available for returns around the clock. Items may also be returned to the Circulation Desk when we're open.
Lost or damaged items are billed to you at the price of each item plus a processing fee.
