Star Wars Party
On Tuesday, Decemember 13 from 7-8:30pm celebrate the release of the upcoming movie Rogue One at our Star Wars party! There will be Star Wars trivia, games, and snacks. Star Wars clothing & costumes are encouraged but not required. The best costume will win a $25 Target gift card, and all teens who attend will be entered in a drawing for a pair of movie passes! For teens in grades 6-12. Registration required.
Teen Manga & Anime Club
Love manga & anime? Come hang out at the Teen Manga & Anime Group meetings! We watch anime episodes, play manga-inspired games, have cosplay parties, & more. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month, so the next one is on Thursday, December 15 from 7-8:30pm. And it's our cosplay party, so come dressed in your finest cosplay outfit! For teens in grades 6-12.
Studying for finals on December 19, 20, or 21? We’ll have space in our large meeting room from 4-9pm for you to get it done. Studying anywhere in the library & need a break? We’ll have food to fuel your cramming – stop by the Adult Services desk (across from the computers) & we’ll load you up with snacks! For teens in grades 9-12.
Teen Book Club: The Winner's Curse
Join us for our next Teen Book Club meeting on Tuesday, January 3 at 7pm! The book selection (After the Woods by Kim Savage) is available at the library. The TBC meets on the first Tuesday of each month. For teens in grades 6-12.
Teen Volunteer Night
The next Teen Volunteer Night is Thursday, January 5 from 6-8pm. It is held on the first Thursday of every month. Teens in grades 6-12 can sign up for these volunteer nights, where you’ll be helping us with basic tasks such as cutting items for storytime prep, straightening shelves, etc.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Space is limited to 6 teens per session. Registration is online & opens on the 1st day of the month for that month's session (for example, sign-up begins on January 1 for the January session).
Cards for Kids & Seniors
Our first session of Cards for Kids & Seniors is on Thursday, January 12 from 6-8pm! Spread some smiles and get service hours! Create handmade cards or letters to brighten someone's day. They'll be sent to Card for Hospitalized Kids and Love for the Elderly charities. We'll give you tips on what to write, along with the supplies needed. For teens in grades 6-12.
