Facts about the Library Candidate Survey – March 1, 2023

Homer Twp. Library has been contacted by residents regarding the Library Trustee Candidate Survey and what is being noted on Homer community social media pages about how candidates were contacted.

FACTS:

  • The Executive Library Director spoke to candidates that did not have an email address on file with the library.  Phone conversations took place the week before the surveys were emailed.
  • Each candidate was informed about the 5-question Candidate Survey and all provided their personal email address to receive it.
  • On Feb. 6 at 2:48pm, the Candidate Survey was emailed to all candidates.
  • As of this posting date, the Executive Library Director has not been contacted by any candidate regarding this survey.

The following link will allow you an opportunity to complete a brief 5-question survey.  The information will profile the candidates running in the 2023 Consolidated Election for Homer Twp. Public Library District Trustee.   (google form link provided)

As has been done in the past, a webpage will be created and available on the library website.
