Teen Volunteers

Are you a teen in grades 6-12 who is looking to volunteer at the library? Teens can earn service hours through in-person monthly events, at-home volunteer projects, or our summer Teen Volunteer Crew (details and applications available each May).

Questions? Email Teen Services at teens@homerlibrary.org.

The library currently only offers volunteer opportunities for teens.

At-Home Teen Volunteer Projects

We host one in-person teen volunteer event per month at the library throughout the school year, but we also offer at-home volunteer projects! The deadline for these projects is June 1, 2024.

NOTE: Service hours for at-home projects are open to teens living in Homer Glen or Lockport or students attending a school located within Homer Glen or Lockport. Service hours for at-home projects cannot be used for court ordered community service.
