Meeting Room
Use of the library meeting room by any organization does not constitute library sponsorship or endorsement of the group or its activities. Advertisements or announcements that either directly or indirectly implies otherwise are prohibited.
Need a space to meet with your community group? Our meeting room can hold 40 people!
Priority of Use
Priority for reserving use of the meeting rooms is given in the following order to meetings, activities or events held by:
- Board of Trustees
- Library Staff or Library Business
- Municipalities or other units of government that are located within or that serve the Library boundaries
- Homer Township Public Library District Cardholders
The person who reserves the meeting room must be registered as a Homer Township Public Library District cardholder in good standing. This person is responsible for the room. The responsible member of the group must be present at the Homer Township Public Library District and provide their Library card or ID before staff will open the meeting room to the group, and the responsible member of the group must be present through the scheduled meeting.
Applications are accepted starting two months in advance of the requested date. Use of the room must be approved and is not guaranteed. Complete guidelines are on the policy.

Completed applications may be returned to the library or scanned and emailed to help@homerlibrary.org.

Study Rooms
We have 9 private study rooms available on a first come, first served basis. Study rooms cannot be reserved in advance.
Bring your library card or another form of identification and library staff will sign you into an available room!
Study rooms are available in two-hour increments, which may be extended, unless someone is waiting.
