Program Description

Event Details

For centuries and across the globe there have been stories about “vanishing hitchhikers”. Many of those stories were meant to warn against the dangers of picking up lonesome travelers. Resurrection Mary is Chicago’s version of that story and Mary is arguably the most beloved of all Chicago’s phantoms.

Still, what do we know about her? Who was she on Earth? Why does she primarily haunt Chicago’s Archer Avenue? When did her story start and how did it change over the years? Join former criminal investigator, historian, and author Ray Johnson as we take a deep dive into all that is Chicago’s Resurrection Mary.
