Event Details

Sign up for a 30 minute one-on-one session with an Adult Services librarian regarding a basic technology or computer topic of your choice. Topics may include: setting up email, attaching files, downloading e-books, creating a resume, using job search websites, etc.

Sessions are meant to be informative tutoring sessions rather than an appointment to diagnose or repair non-functioning equipment. Additonally, staff are unable to recommend technology or equipment for purchase.

Registration required. Limit 1 person per session.

This event is being offered as part of a Job Seekers Wanted: Bouncing Back from the Pandemic grant. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).
