Feltmaking with Lemont Artists Guild

Event Details

Multi-talented and award-winning fiber artist Betty Burian Kirk, will share the fine art craft of feltmaking including the history of making felt, how it is made, and its contemporary techniques and uses.  A lucky attendee will win one of Betty’s felted hearts! A former teacher, some of her many talents include weaving, spinning, ribbon flowers, tassels, Japanese bookbinding and braiding (Kumihimo). 

Meetings are open to all; you do not have to be a Lemont Artists Guild member to attend.
