On March 2nd we will celebrate a great author’s birthday, Dr. Seuss’s Birthday. Dr. Seuss has made major contributions to children’s literature and is said to have made reading fun for children again. His 1957 book The Cat in the Hat that made him a household name.

READ ALOUD: Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? by Dr Seuss. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.

ACTIVITY: Now it is your turn to decide why you are a lucky ducky!  Take a piece of paper and write at the top “I think I’m a lucky ducky because…..” and you get to write what makes you a very lucky ducky indeed.

COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
