The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people. Join us this week for stories and activities that celebrate unique and wonderful lives.

READ ALOUD: The Legend of the Bluebonnet retold by Tomie dePaola. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library’s website for other books to enjoy.

VIDEO: Native American Powwow dance

ACTIVITY: Build a Tipi or tent in your family room and when you get inside pretend to go back in time when only Native Americans inhabited what is now the United States of America.

COLORING PAGE: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
