You never really lose the excitement of a new school year starting, do you? It is time to swap the long carefree days of summer for new crayons and a backpack. That first sense of the leaves turning triggers the memories of the start of the school year. It is exciting to get ready to start a whole new school year.
READ ALOUD: Amelia Bedilia First Day of School by Herman Parish. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.
ACTIVITY: Practing cutting and use rectangles and triangles to create a simple pencil craft.
COLORING SHEET: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
