Join us every day this week for Science Story Time! A science themed story is paired with a related video, a simple activity and a coloring sheet. Each day has a different story, video, activity and coloring sheet to engage your budding scientist!
Book: Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty. Also, check out Hoopla and Tumble Book Library on the Library's website for other books to enjoy.
Video: Solve Problems, Be an Engineer by SciShow Kids.
Activity: Use cardboard and building blocks to build a beam bridge. What can you do to make the bridge stronger? Test your bridge by putting some of your toys on the bridge. What happens each time you add a toy to the bridge?
Coloring Sheet: Print the attachment and decorate with crayons, paint, stickers or whatever inspires you!
